THE TRINITY LAKE REGION
Nestled between the Costal and Cascade mountain ranges, Trinity Lake is one of California's most beautiful, yet least known treasures. Trinity Lake provides a relaxing atmosphere for all types of water sports: water skiing, houseboating, fishing and swimming. With over 17,000 acres of surface, Trinity Lake is California's third-largest reservoir. The 145 miles of shoreline are dotted with secluded coves and beaches. During the summer, water enthusiasts enjoy the surface temperatures that rise to a comfortable 80 degrees and even higher.
THE SALMON-TRINITY ALPS
This 517,500-acre mountain range provides a rugged, picturesque backdrop to
Trinity Lake. The alps is a destination for backpackers, equestrians and
day hikers who come to experience the breathtaking beauty of the alpine
lakes, tubing mountain streams, deep canyons, ragged ridges and lofty
peaks. Among the vast variety of flora are tiger lilies, lupine and Pacific
dogwood. Consider an off-season trip to experience the brilliant spring
wildflowers, or the striking autumn foliage.
The Trinity lake region is a beautiful haven from a hectic world,
and there's no better place to vacation than here at Trinity Lake KOA.
